The Research Methods Knowledge Base is a comprehensive web-based textbook that addresses all of the topics in a typical introductory undergraduate or graduate course in social research methods. The Knowledge Base was designed by William M.K. Trochim, a Professor in the Department of Policy Analysis and Management at Cornell University. Published exclusively by Atomic Dog Publishing.

 

Common Qualitative Methods
Information from the National Science Foundation on conducting evaluation using qualitative methods including observations, in-depth interviews, and focus groups. This is Chapter 3 of the “User-Friendly Handbook for Mixed Method Evaluations”, an online resource that provides an overview of practical evaluation methodology.
